Originally founded as First Last in 2018, the project was redefined as Pharmacy Books in 2024. Based in Brooklyn, we have hosted events in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Tokyo. We focus on creating limited edition publications and objects in close collaboration with artists, working across a variety of mediums and artistic approaches. We have a particular interest in project-based publications, where the book itself is treated as a work of art. Pharmacy Books is a platform for self-initiation and is intended to be a space for experimentation within the fluid boundaries of publication design.
